Apparently last night it was really, really cold outside. I know this because when I got up this morning and went outside I noticed my garden looking rather peculiar. The tomatoes,squash and most of the marigolds had turned to the consistency of mush! Everything was laying on the cold, cold dirt looking oddly sad. They looked just like when you accidentally freeze your lettuce in the refrigerator! I was going to take a couple of pictures but I remembered about 1/2 way through the digging up process...so no pics. Oh well (insert sigh here) now I have more time to prepare the garden for the next planting. The plants are now making a contribution to the compost pile!

So very sorry, Mary Lee. Wow, you wouldn't think that would happen as pleasant as the weather has been. Miss those pictures though!
